Louisville Monarchs Box Lacrosse was built with one goal in mind: to create the most authentic box lacrosse environment in the United States. Our program is designed to give athletes the opportunity, resources, and coaching they need to reach their full potential as players and as people.
Through high-level training, competitive team play, and a commitment to the true style of the box game, Monarchs athletes develop the skills, toughness, and lacrosse IQ required to succeed at the next level.
Our mission is to prepare players not only to compete in college and professionally, but to carry the discipline, confidence, and work ethic they gain through the game into every area of life. We are building more than teams—we are building a culture where athletes are pushed to grow, compete, and represent the game the right way.
The Louisville Monarchs represent the evolution of box lacrosse in Kentucky. Founded by Dylan Gatt, the Monarchs are raising the bar—creating more opportunity, better development, and a stronger culture for players who want to take their game and character to the next level.
The name Monarchs represents the strength of the Louisville lacrosse community—a united front built on connection, support, and shared purpose. That united front isn’t just about playing the game—it’s about being the national leader in the sport and setting the standard for how it’s taught, played, and respected.
