MONARCHS GIRLS BOX TEAM PROGRAMMING

Program
Overview

Monarchs Girls Box Programming
The Louisville Monarchs aim to provide the first-ever girls' box lacrosse team programming in Kentucky. This initial phase will feature two teams: a high school team consisting of players in the 2030, 2029, 2028, and 2027 classes, as well as a second team made up of players in the 2031 and 2032 classes.
This structure is designed to establish a strong foundation while remaining flexible as interest continues to grow. If demand exceeds initial expectations, additional teams will be formed at both the high school and middle school levels to ensure players are placed in the most appropriate and competitive training environment.
Girls box lacrosse is the future of the sport. It accelerates skill development, sharpens lacrosse IQ, and has become an increasingly valuable platform for college recruiting, while also aligning with the fast-paced Olympic Sixes format. More importantly, it provides an incredible experience and a unique opportunity for Kentucky players to be pioneers—helping set the standard for something special in our state.
Teams
The long-term goal is to create clear, competitive pathways for each graduating class while continuing to expand opportunities for girls of all ages. Athletes will have the opportunity to train and compete in a true box lacrosse environment, while helping build something new and meaningful within the Kentucky lacrosse landscape.
Girls of all ages: please fill out the player interest form below if you’re interested in getting involved in the sport in any capacity.
